Modification of hydroxyapatite by doping lithium through acid-base reaction

چکیده
Lithium (Li) doping is increasingly regarded as an effective modification for hydroxyapatite (HA) due to its excellent performances in osteogenesis. However, traditional method involving calcium, lithium and phosphorus salt (salt route) usually brought some unexpected ions, which could influence the properties of obtained materials largely. In present study, acid-base reaction (acid-base was applied a chemical co-precipitation achieve Li-doped HA nano size (nLiHA) at various calcium ratios. Comparisons on structure composition between nLiHA made from both routes route were subsequently conducted. As result, synthesizing through proved be feasible improvement product purity crystallinity.
